Wrapped elastic thread is a latex thread (elastic band) braided with textile threads, with a total diameter of 0.6 – 1.2 mm. The braid gives the elastic band strength and the necessary color (decor).

The elastic thread can be braided (wrapped) with cotton (cotton) thread, lurex thread (gold, silver), polyester (polyester, lavsan) thread.

In the manufacture of elastic thread, latex thread (spandex, synthetic polymer) of TOP quality (not China) is used.
