🛠️ Instructions: How to Make an Anti-Drone Net from 1 mm Kevlar Cord
✅ Required Materials:
1 mm kevlar cord (amount depends on net size)
Frame (optional): cables, frame made of metal/PVC/wood
Tools: scissors or knife, gloves, measuring tape, marker, clips or clamps
Fasteners: knots, staples, cable ties, or heat-shrink tubing
🧩 Steps for Making the Net:
1. Determine net size
Typical mesh cell: 5×5 cm to 20×20 cm, depending on drone type (smaller cells for FPV drones).
Example: A 2×2 meter net with 10×10 cm cells will require ~40 m of cord in each direction.
2. Prepare the frame (if needed)
Use a rigid metal frame, pipes, or stretched netting.
Alternative: stretch between trees, poles, or vehicles.
3. Cut the cord
Cut the kevlar cord into even lengths according to the planned width and height of the net.
Leave a 5–10 cm margin for knotting.
4. Weave the net
Lay out horizontal cords with 10 cm spacing.
Weave vertical cords across at the same intervals to form square cells.
Secure each crossing point with a knot (square or double knot).
5. Secure the net
Reinforce the edges with an additional perimeter cord.
Attach to frame or anchor points using zip ties, staples, or knots.
6. Camouflage (optional)
Add camouflage elements (tape, netting, branches) to reduce aerial visibility.
⚠️ Tips:
Kevlar is strong but can fray — use heat-sealing or shrink tubing on ends.
Kevlar work can be tough — wear gloves to prevent cuts.
For military/tactical use — it’s advisable to make spare nets or segments.

🪢 Assembly Steps:
Stretch horizontal cords at 10 cm intervals on a flat surface.
Weave vertical cords through with the same spacing.
Tie knots or use zip ties at intersections.
After weaving, reinforce the perimeter with additional cord or secure the net to a frame.
🧱 Optional:
Add double-cord reinforcement around the edges.
For storage — roll up and wrap in protective film.
